Windows 8.1, called Blue Windows, was officially introduced by Microsoft with a huge flood of new features and finally with support for high-resolution screens. This is an evolution of Windows 8 that was released last year. One of the most important changes of this Windows is that due to the lack of user acceptance of the Metro user interface in Windows 8, this interface is marginalized and users are redirected directly to the desktop after Windows starts. New features in Windows 8.1 will include the return of the Start button, a new search interface and changes to the user interface and new applications such as Facebook and Flipboard, and other customization features.

Backgrounds are animated and you can place any image you like on the lock screen. Bing Heroes Search is back with impressive graphics. Search for celebrities like Marilyn Monroe will show you a full screen interface with various photos and media alongside traditional search results. Microsoft, like Apple, has decided to scale the operating system to 200%, which means that developers will have to update their apps to see crisp images and text.
